I grew up around people abusing each other often.

It is violence when you use a sharp word, when we make a gesture to brush away a person, when we obey because there is fear. View all 5 comments.

How can you be surprised by it! It was graphic but not dirty graphic This book had a hard start and it definitely didn’t leave the reader in any doubt of what they were getting into. I am not going to focus on the abuse in this book for this review because this book was less about abuse to me than strength.

David’s father, Richard, sees woman as a lesser equal. The events in this book left me feeling shaken and uncomfortable. Regardless of the auto generated “If you like blah blah blah, you will like this,” use your best judgement before you dive in and use this as your next read after a certain trilogy. I could see where some reviewers stated that it was a bit confusing but I loved it.

We drew hard lines between playtime and real life. And that’s what happened in this book. While roaming for his next tally mark he mistakes Kat for a possibility and immediately runs to the next available woman. Won’t give fee away except something major happens and it’s life changing for them all. The plot wasn’t well developed. Apr 15, NiteReader rated it liked it Shelves: The loving relationship between David and Sin made up for the abusive parts with his father.

This book started off with a bang, letting me know right away that this author wasn’t going to pull any punches.

This is actually the longest review I have ever given and could go on further but I generqtional not want to bore you any longer with this one person’s opinion.

Generational Sins (Generational Sins, #1) by Samantha Blair

It is rare that we get a strong female in a book that can take the lead the way Kat does. David has the appearance of a man in control. Thank goodness this book turned out to be amazing. Blajr Blair weaves their story through the past and the present, switching it up from chapter to chapter. Refresh and try again. I have read a few I’ve loved and a few that made my skin crawl so much I couldn’t get past the first few chapters.

This book is difficult to describe. View all 12 comments. David’s father is regarded as the pillar of the community but in reality he is samantah abusive sadistic father and husband. I promise it was not intentional. Surprisingly to both, they enjoy the same flavor of love making. This book contains very adult situations and is not suitable reading for those under the age of eighteen.

Generational Sins

I personally am not one for bdsm, but it is interesting to read. I have always said that I will never ever stand by and be verbally and physically abused, that’s goes for sexually abused as well.

He is gorgeous, goal oriented and wreaks sophistication. Also, I really liked the reasons behind Kat’s willingness to be a submissive. They are not high on the consideration scale for him and they are to be used, whether they are his wife or someone random he found on the street.

Kat and David’s relationship is depicted in such a way that you would be sure to feel immense respect and understanding for them. While the sex scenes were hot, the story itself didn’t get me all bothered so even the sex scenes fell flat to me.

That one person who knows you better than you can sometimes know yourself. From getting a strange insight to a very different kind of abuse that David and his mother endured Maybe not the usual set up, but I felt every emotions.

I found the characters weak and uninteresting. I never wanted to slap the living shiite out of someone the way I wanted to do to his Dad. This book is definitely not for the faint of heart or the weak.
