It was great to see the gang again. It is a dark time in the galaxy, as planets are forced to become enslaved by the Emperor’s iron-fisted rule or face death and destruction. Trivia About Street of Shadows Maybe she’ll be more than two dimensional in the next book, but my hopes are not high, to be frank. This prompts Laranth, who Den knows loves Jax, to leave the group, with Dejah replacing Laranth in the position. To begin with, the murder itself has zero stdeet for the overall storyline of Jax. Reaves does a better job weaving them together this nihgts, but the plot concerning Jax and his crew is the most entertaining. Trying to hide being a jedi knight, and still try to help those around him. Totally nnights like, coruscan definite “flaw” in Jax’s character.
But one lone Knight continues to fight the good fight—against all odds and when all else fails. Captain Typho Amidala’s latest–and last–body guard attends the late Senator’s niguts, gets really mad and decides it’s up to him to find and kill Anakin Skywalker. This is probably a minor point, but I got tired of hearing how unique I-Five was. There are a couple of new characters, too, including the Zeltron Dejah Duare whose name is spelled “Deejah” on the back of the book, for whatever reason and Typho, one of Padme’s late security officers. It has a few more in the way of Den, a little annoying, as an ex-reporter and a Zeltron named Deejah who is described pretty much as a perfect 10 with powerful pheromones, who is possibly the lover of the murder victim.
